Clowning
The workshop invites participants to discover joy, playfulness, vulnerability and glorification of failure. Through playful exercises and improvisation, we explore inner and outer connections: both within ourselves and with the world around us. It is about embracing our humanity and finding humor in everyday moments.
Clowning offers a sense of release and brings new perspectives to how we see the world.

Clowning philosophy is based on losing and accepting everything that emerges. It is a celebration of failure. It explores falling, losing, and the edges of one’s own limits. Clowning asks to surrender fully to the play; where truth, openness, and vulnerability are essential. It enables us to discover and embrace our own world—our unique material for play. The aim of the workshop is to introduce participants to the fundamentals and perspective of clowning, supported by Jacques Lecoq’s pedagogy and various clown training approaches.
